Brock McFarlane

CEO, Founder

Brock is founding owner and President of Weston Technology Solutions. Since starting the company in 1994, he has focused on Weston partnering with its clients to solve their technology frustrations. As the company has grown, he has transitioned from a purely technical role to developing the strategic and sales aspects of Weston.

When he is not focusing on Weston, Brock enjoys camping with his family. He has a beautiful wife and four great kids that keep him challenged and rewarded. In 2002, the McFarlane family moved from Anchorage to Bend to be closer to family and to start the first branch office. They all enjoy being close to the grandparents and the great quality of life that Bend offers.

Brock graduated from Oregon State University with a major in Business – Management Information Systems. He is an active member of his church and is developing ways to allow his business endeavors to be used to help provide hope for others. Read more about Brock on our blog.

Greg Freeman

Executive Vice President

Greg is a co-owner of Weston and joined the company a few years after its inception. He’s held several positions inside the company, stepping in wherever needed. He joined Weston because of the ideals the company set forth and to help foster a company that supports others in their advancement, whether a colleague or client.

Eric Spinney

Service Manager

As the most senior consultant in the Bend office, Eric has seen a lot of changes within Weston. He’s seen the Bend office grow from just two employees to 7 employees. He’s proud of the fact that Weston is still a small company, where the employees all know each other and our clients well.

While at work, Eric enjoys designing and managing networking projects as well as supporting our client’s everyday needs. One of his favorite things about his job is change; not only does he enjoy learning new technologies every day, but he has the opportunity to go out and meet new and interesting people as well.

Outside of work Eric enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, trips to the coast, and just trying to keep up with his two young boys. Read more about Eric on our blog

Eric Udland

Account Manager and Technology Consultant

Eric has been a resident of Alaska since 1978. He grew up on the Kenai Peninsula and moved to Anchorage in 1992 after earning his Bachelors degree at Arizona State University. In 2000 he entered the Information Technology industry and has been working as a systems analyst and technology consultant ever since. Eric became a Microsoft Certified Professional in 2005 and joined the Weston team in 2006.

Eric and his wife recently moved to their new home in Spokane, Washington. From there he will will continue working for Weston and make quarterly visits back to Anchorage. Read more about Eric in our Meet the team profile.


Rebecca Clover


Becky brings more than 25 years of accounting experience to Weston, with the last 8 years in the Technology environment. Her bookkeeping and organizational skills keep Weston’s financial information on track.

Becky was drawn to the Central Oregon area in the mid 90’s working for a mailing service. Within a few months she went to work for a local greeting card company as their bookkeeper, where she helped develop automated systems for customizing Christmas card orders. Then the opportunity appeared for her to work for Microwing, thus becoming part of the Weston family.

Outside of Weston she enjoys spending time with her family & friends (especially watching her grandson play baseball), riding ATVs, and sharing her life with her husband. Read more about Becky in our Meet the Team: Rebecca Clover.


Jake Ortman

Communications Manager, Factotum

Jake has lived in Central Oregon his entire life, except for a brief stint in Eugene while obtaining a BS in Journalism & Computer Information Technology from the University of Oregon. He’s worked in a wide variety of technology related fields. From web development, management, hosting, search engine optimization and online content management to systems administration, helpdesk tech support, network diagnostics, hardware/software troubleshooting and graphic design. When he’s not tethered to a computer screen, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, lazy days at the lake, and performing with the Central Oregon Symphony and Cascade Winds Symphonic Band. Read more about Jake on our blog


Jeffrey Schilpp

Jeffrey started his IT career in Fort Worth, Texas. After establishing his career, Jeffrey relocated back to his hometown of Portland, Oregon and began a new chapter of his career by working for a Managed Service Provider. Jeffrey has over 7 years of experience in Network Administration and IT consulting; with a focused emphasis in the Healthcare Industry. Jeffrey strives to advance and expand his knowledge base with continued education and has been dedicated to improving himself with training and certifications throughout his career. Jeffrey recently moved to Central Oregon with his wife and two children. Dharma Chappell

Solutions Consultant

Chappell joins the Weston team with over 30 years of business management and information technology experience, most recently as the Technology and Facilities Manager for Karnopp Petersen LLP in Bend, Ore. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Microwing, Inc., a technology services company that opened its doors in 1989. Weston acquired the assets of Microwing in 2006. As Weston’s Solutions Consultant, he will work with businesses throughout Central Oregon to come up with long-term, proactive plans for the technology that runs their business. Read more about Dharma on our blog.


James Moro

Helpdesk Consultant

James joins us (most recently) from Boulder, CO, but has bounced around all over the US, from Las Vegas, Laguna Beach, San Diego, Boulder, Denver and now has planted himself in Oregon. He enjoys shredding powder on Mt. Bachelor, mountain biking, hiking with his dog, photography, camping and staring at all the jaw-dropping scenery in Oregon with a dumbfounded look on his face. Read more about James on our blog.

Jeff Boucher

Technology Consultant

Jeff has over 25 years experience in the IT industry. He started in the healthcare industry back in 1988, providing support to medical practices in his former home state of New Hampshire. Since then, has worked in the Boston area, Texas, Florida and recently moved to Alaska to join Weston. He enjoys the challenge the IT industry brings, from building relationships with clients to staying on top of the ever changing technologies. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family: wife, Tonya and three children, whether it be hiking through the awesome Alaskan wilderness, skating on a frozen lake or just relaxing with a puzzle or a good story in the comfort of home. Dylan has done a bit of everything in his career, from helpdesk, programming, and web design to his current role as a network consultant at Weston.
