Anybody who has done anything with images in Word knows that sometimes it has a mind of its own as to where it thinks images should go. If you have an image where you want it in word and don’t want it to move from that position – no matter what changes around it – here’s how you do it.
First off, create your Word document. Or pilfer the works of Dickens, whatever works:
Then, place your image where you want it, adjust the text wrapping or whatever you need to do. In this case, we’re taking an appropriate image from the Bizarro comic:
Click on the layout options:
Check the box to fix the position on the page:
You can then change the text all around it, even to a different Dickens book, and that image isn’t going anywhere.
