We’re only as good as our team, and they’re a pretty awesome team. Whenever we bring on a new team member, we like to introduce them. This team member has been with us a couple months now, but with everything that’s been going on, it’s been a bit too chaotic to get her featured on here. This month, we introduce you to our newest member of our team, Administrative Assistant Patrice Bernal.

• Name, and title and what would you say you do here? I’m Patrice, one of the Administrative Assistants of Weston. I’m in charge of doing anything administrative and clerical so that the team can focus more on doing their work and expertise.
• Hometown and how did you end up where you are? Currently, I am residing in Makati City located in Manila, Philippines. I basically grew up and spent most of my years in Bulacan, a province up north which is around a two-hour drive from Manila.
• How did you end up at Weston? I was actually trying my luck with freelancing, came across the job online and here we are.
• Favorite part about Weston? The People.
• What do you do for fun in your spare time? Netflix and chill. Ha, I’m boring. 😄
• What do in your spare time that nobody would guess? I love to read and watch anything historical.
• If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?  It would most probably be the time when they built the pyramids, the colosseum, parthenon and other great archeological sites we have now.
• What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Folding laundry.
• If you had to pick one word to describe yourself, what would it be? Versatile.
• If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?  My grandfather since he was alone for a year now due to the pandemic. We simply can’t cross borders and that makes it hard for us to come and visit him.
• Choose a movie title for the story of your life. Eat, Pray and Love.
• If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why?  Chloe Grace Moretz since I find her amusing and sort of adventurous as well.
• What do you want to be when you grow up? I dreamed of being a community doctor ever since.
• If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?  Teleportation.
• What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done in your life? Went for a spontaneous out of town trip (ooops, details are promised to be kept.)
• If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not, living or dead, real or fictional, with whom would it be? Athena? I just wonder how is it being looked up and adored by many.
• If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why? A Dog, just because.
• What is the worst pet you have ever had? I’ve never had one of my own until I was in college since I was allergic to anything furry.
• How do you get your caffeine? Coffee (iced or hot) but definitely with sugar and cream.
• What’s the strangest talent you have? I love public speaking.
• If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring? A huge boat that could carry all the essentials.
• Where’s Waldo? Somewhere where he can’t be seen or spotted easily
• A penguin walks through that door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here? To look for his partner or better yet ask for some pennies.
• If I opened your fridge, what would I see? Donuts
