Any old-school Windows nerds (like the folks at Weston) remember Microsoft PowerToys, a collection of handy little utilities for Windows that added handy power-user features, many of which became standard features or tools in Windows over the years. Neither Windows Vista, 7, or 8 had official PowerToys, but it looks like Windows 10 is resurrecting the PowerToys project for Windows 10. While they haven’t officially released any yet, you can vote on what toy you’d like to see first.
Personally, I like the option of a Win+R replacement, especially because there are so many useful run commands that it would make life easier for folks that like to stick to the keyboard.
