Microsoft Teams Tips – Smarter Conversations

We mentioned not too long ago that Skype for Business is transitioning to Teams. Teams is a great collaboration and communications tool. We use it to chat and hold meetings and video conferences between our various remote offices and employees. If you’re using Office 365, we’d encourage you to start playing with it and contact us if you have any questions using it with your business. Microsoft is wanting you to start using it as well, and have published a bunch of great Teams Tips and Tricks.

One of the most useful tips is to use the “@” symbol to grab somebody’s attention that may not be part of the conversation. In a chat or channel conversation, type “@”, followed by your teammate’s name or email address, and select them from the list that pops up. They’ll get a notification in their Activity feed about the conversation.
