Non-Profit Spotlight: Partners in Care

We recently started a feature in our newsletter focused on how we truly take our core purpose – “To Better the Lives of Others” – seriously, and the impact some of those organizations we support are making. We’ve featured some great organizations already: Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Central OregonNew Each MorningHospice of RedmondHabitat for HumanityConvoy of HopeStone Soup GroupKid’s Lab and Companion Animal Medical Project. This month, we’d like to feature the area’s largest and oldest nonprofit provider for seriously and terminally-ill patients and their families: Partners in Care.

Since 1979, Partners in Care has been providing hospice, home health and palliative care throughout Central Oregon. Their interdisciplinary team of medical providers, nursing staff, counselors and care coordinators life patients up with hope, dignity and respect. Hospice volunteers provide services throughout the community, enhancing a patient’s quality of life.

They provide the full spectrum of care, from advanced illness and recovery to end-of-life care, at both the patient’s home and Hospice House. They provide hospice care, the in-patient Hospice House, palliative care, home health, care coordination programs, grief support and veteran support.
