Skype For Business is Transitioning to Teams

Skype for Business is a great product, and we used it extensively here at our office for years (back when it was known as Lync). That being said, Microsoft is in the process of gradually phasing out the product and replacing it with Microsoft Teams (having spent the last year or so bring feature parity to the products). We have been using Teams for a while at our office and found it to be an incredibly powerful collaboration and unified communication tool, especially with our multiple offices.

If you’re using Skype for Business with Office 365, you need to be aware that Skype will be going away soon. So before it does, you should probably start playing around with Teams, and Microsoft has a great set of videos, documents, and tools to help you get started.
